She is highly skilled in business analytics, market research, problem-solving, client relationship management, strategic consulting, leadership development, and project management. As the co-founder of Modaville Consulting, an international consulting and training management firm headquartered in Washington, D.C., she has played a pivotal role in driving the company’s success. Mopelola is also the founder of Palm Frontiers LLC and Modaville Global.
In addition to her consulting ventures, Mopelola founded Modaville Realties, a real estate advisory firm, in Lagos, Nigeria, with no initial capital. Under her leadership, the firm rapidly expanded its client base to four countries—Dubai, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada—within its first two years. Her expertise in real estate is comprehensive, covering residential and commercial sales and leases, property valuation and appraisals, feasibility and viability studies, market research, and real estate investment.
Currently, Mopelola serves as Vice President at M&T Bank in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, she draws on her diverse experience in business development, consulting, and real estate to provide strategic leadership and drive impactful results.
Mopelola is also a certified DISC trainer and a Certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and Trainer. An accomplished author of four books, she is passionate about empowering others. She founded Reignite40, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to equipping women with the tools and resources to elevate themselves to higher and more fulfilled versions of their lives.

Olumide Lawal is a distinguished professional in the fields of public policy, governance, and development, with more than a decade of experience spanning various sectors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English education from the University of Lagos and a Master’s degree in International Policy and Practice from George Washington University. I also have a certificate in Public Management from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Before pursuing his academic career in the United States, he was actively involved in youth development advocacy and public service in Nigeria. He later worked as a Legislative Officer in Nigeria’s 7th National Assembly and ventured into partisan politics, running for a seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly in 2015. Notably, he played a key role in the Not Too Young To Run campaign, servinf as the inaugural coordinator in Lagos State. This advocacy led to the passage of the Age Reduction Act of 2018 in Nigeria by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Olumide is a Public Sector and Policy Consultant at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, DC, where he collaborates with various units and Global Practices within the World Bank, offering his expertise in public sector reforms, program management, and external relations. He has also worked with other international organizations like the International Republican Institute (IRI) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Washington, DC, advising and partnering with governments and stakeholders in several countries.
His outstanding leadership qualities earned him recognition and selection as a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow through the US State Department program for young African leaders. He later served as the National President of the Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association of Nigeria and was a Freeman Foundation International Fellow at the Elliott School of International Affairs.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, He founded the Nigerian Professionals Network, a non-profit organization, focused on promoting positive narratives about Nigeria and Africa, and leveraging the intellectual capabilities of Africans for societal impact. He is an active member of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) and the Global Diplomatic Forum, a London-based think tank. He also held leadership roles in the George Washington University Elliott School Graduate Board and he’s a member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria.
